 Jo Ann Cartee (Swearingen) sadly passed away February 19th, 2025 at the age of 54. 

 Jo Ann was born on March 25th,1970 in Augusta to the late John Swearingen and Linda Davis (Williams).
 

She was a loving mother and always helping others. She became “Momma Jo” to everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, having cookouts and playing cards. Just enjoying the simple things of life. Her greatest love was the Georgia Bulldawgs and watching college football. Go Dawgs!
 

 Jo Ann is survived by her husband Roy Cartee of Gaston, her children Joanna Howell of Gaston, Tony Wallace Jr of Georgia, Joelaine Wallace (Wesley) of Gaston, Elizabeth Westbrook of Gaston, and Jon Ham who she thought of as a son, and eight grandchildren.

 
Jo Ann is also survived by her siblings Johnsie Ouellette of Georgia, Jackie Pacheco (David) of Swansea, Tyler Davis of Florida, as well as Kevin and Diane Couch who she thought of as her brother and sister.
